Yes. Interest in a specific Selected Pair or line can be registered through the form above. Approved buyers are matched as chicks are released. AKQ retains the right to hold individual chicks selected for the program where they support a long-term line goal.

No. Only a limited number of public-safe Selected Pairs are shown on the website. The full AKQ pairing list, strategic future combinations, and hidden carrier logic are kept private to protect line strategy. Approved breeder contacts may be shown additional details on request.

Are full ring numbers shared publicly?
No. Ring numbers and complete parentage records are maintained internally and shared privately with approved buyers and serious breeder contacts at the point of placement.

When are chicks released?
Chicks are released after weaning, structural assessment, and a verified health check. Exact timing depends on the clutch, the bird’s development, and parent vs hand-rearing. AKQ will share an expected release window when matching an approved enquiry to a bird.

Are all chicks available for sale?
No. Chicks identified as carrying critical splits, foundation value, or strategic mutation direction are retained for the AKQ program. Remaining chicks are placed with approved breeders and serious keepers where the placement supports the bird’s long-term care and breeding value.

Can AKQ retain a chick after interest is registered?
Yes. Registering interest does not lock a specific chick. Final allocation is confirmed in writing after AKQ reviews the bird’s development, structure, and value to the program. Where a chick is retained, AKQ will discuss the next suitable bird from the same line with the registered enquiry.
